Class of 1968 40 Year Reunion

Breakfast meeting discussion on 40 year reunion scheduled for August 23, 2008.

BONFIRE:

The bonfire at Marty was great.  Anyone who missed it lost out on a good time and I must add great food.  

CLASSMATE UPDATE:

Eleven classmates have signed up to help in contacting other classmates.  We could use more help if any one is interested please contact Darryl Sherwood at lwhs40yrreunion@comcast.net.   We just want to update address, phone number, and email address (if available). 

Once the list of classmates has been updated, we will send out postcards announcing the reunion date.  We would like to have this before Thanksgiving.

Darryl will also be trying to find out information on the missing classmate list.  This has not been updated since our 35 reunion.  Any one having information about anyone please update list or contact Darryl Sherwood at lwhs40yrreunion@comcast.net

REUNION INFORMATION:

V.F.W. New Lenox.  We inquired into several places and this is where we could get the best price. 

Reunion will be August 23. 2008 please mark this day on your calendar and come join the fun.

We will not have a disc jockey this year but we will have some music for those of you who love to dance.

REUNION WEEKEND:
FRIDAY, AUGUST 22, 2008

Bus tour (Party Bus):   The will be a small charge for this tour.  Tour will take us several different locations:   We will be able to get buses from Providence Transportation for $100.00 plus we tip the driver.  Bus will hold approximately 46 people. 
Places to see on bus:
The 3 new Lincoln-way High School’s along with our school Central
The new 355 Exchange
The changes made over time on Route 30

After the tour we all meet someplace (place has not been chosen) for pizza, beer and or soft drinks.

SATURDAY MORNING:

Golf outing for those interested.
Shopping or Spa

SATURDAY NIGHT:

Reunion night:   PARTY!  PARTY!   PARTY!!!!

SUNDAY:

Class picnic at Hanes Ave Park (same place as 35th year reunion). We will have a large Subway type sandwich and some cookies.  We want to keep it simple.
