The South Suburban Youth Service Alliance, Inc. (SSYSA), a non-for-profit organization established in 1974, is a coalition of community-based, youth-centered agencies, service providers, and other interested groups/individuals who collaborate to assist south suburban youth and families through counseling, mentoring, and education. We are pleased to provide you with the attached requirements and application for the 2014-2015 SSYSA Scholarship. SSYSA will provide one $500 scholarship to one high school student from the south suburbs. This scholarship is for high school freshmen, sophomores, juniors,and seniors, and for students currently enrolled in college or graduate school. Home schooled students are also eligible. Applicants must be US citizens or legal residents. To apply, applicants must submit an application form including an 140-character message about digital privacy. The top 10 applications will be selected as finalists and asked to write a full length 500 to 1,000 word essay about digital privacy.

Deadline: June 30, 2015 Award Range: $500-$1,500
