The media center at Lincoln-Way serve the informational needs of over 5,000 students and staff. The media centers are open before and after school, on a drop-in basis, for anyone wanting to check out books, do research, work on a homework assignment, or read. During the school day the media centers are used primarily by teachers who bring their classes into the media center and lab to work on projects and to do research. Students who wish to use the media center during their advisory period must get a pass from one of their academic teachers. Every effort will be made to accommodate students who need to use the media center resources during their advisory period. |

Circulation Students must have a valid ID in order to check out media center materials. Please bring all materials to the circulation desk so that the bar code can be scanned into the computer. If the security system sounds an alarm when you exit the media center, return to the circulation desk so that the check-out procedure can be completed. Books
circulate for a period of three weeks. A fine
of $.10 per day will be charged for all overdue materials.
Occasionally teachers will request that books be put
on reserve and checked out on an overnight basis only.
Overdue fines for reserved books are $.50 per day. |
