Who can students drive with once they have a permit?
Students are permitted to drive with an adult age 21 or older. The adult has to presently hold a valid license, along with having it for at least one year.
Can students obtain permits without enrolling in the class?
NO. Students must be enrolled in an approved driver education course in order to be eligible to obtain a permit.
What is a bypass, and how can students get one?
In order for students to be eligible for a bypass, they must earn a grade of A or B in driver education (classroom). Once the students begins BTW, the instructor will make the determination as to whether the students will take the road test or not. All students will NOT have an opportunity to take the road test, which will result in the student having to take the test at the DMV. It is at the discretion of the BTW instructor whether or not to administer the road test.
