OBJECTIVES
A. To gain a basic knowledge and understanding of the Rules of the Road.
B. To become familiar with common procedures to follow when driving.
C. To be able to participate in class individually, as well as working cooperatively with others.

ATTENDANCE
 
Students are required to attend classroom by the state of Illinois.  Any students missing an excess of five (5) days of classroom may be removed from class, and return to P.E.  The driver education attendance policy differs from the existing policy at Lincoln-Way Central.  Please refer to your handout if there are any concerns.

GENERAL
A. There are 18 chapters in the Drive Right textbook.  In class, we cover approximately 2 chapters per week.
B. Assignments will be given throughout the course.  Assignments should be completed, and turned in by the due date.  Assignments turned in late will NOT be accepted.
C. There are 7 unit tests, along with a pre-test, and final exam.  Tests are worth between 50-75 points.
D. Cheating is NOT tolerated! (See student handbook about policies)
E. Make-up work is the responsibility of the STUDENT.  Please make arrangements with the instructor to make-up any work that was missed from an absence.
