Lincoln-Way
Central guidance counselor, Kevin Coy, has been nominated for an
Executive Board position of the Illinois Association of College Admissions
Counselors (IACAC).
“It is an honor to be nominated as a candidate for the Executive Board.
It was said to me at one of the IACAC conventions to always remember that we
are here to help students. From that moment I knew that being in the profession
of guidance counselor was my calling. Helping teenagers through the college selection
and application process is my passion,” said Coy.
“The Guidance Department is proud of Kevin for extending the counseling
profession from the local level to the state level,” commented Terri Brost,
department chair.
