Enduring Understanding:
Knowing how to follow a procedure in an organized manner will assist in solving everyday problems that arise.

Essential Questions:

  • Explain how using FOIL is like using PEMDAS.
  • Compare and contrast synthetic division and division with numerals.
  • How would you feel if you were left out of something?

explain how and when to distribute
divide by a monomial and binomial
accurately organize and combine like polynomials

8.B.5 - Use functions including exponential, polynomial, rational, parametric, logarithmic, and trigonometric to describe numerical relationships.
