of school. Space is limited to the first 90 applicants.
What: Lincoln-Way Central
High School is offering a prep class for our students. It is called the August
Algebra Academy. Students will need to bring a pencil and some paper to write
on, however, there isn’t any homework!
When:
The class is only three evenings for an hour and a half each, and
there are two different sessions to choose from for your convenience.
Session 1 is on August 4, 5, and 6 from 6:30
– 8:00 each night. (Monday, Tuesday,
Wed.)
Session 2 is on August 11, 12, and 13 from 6:30 – 8:00 each night.
(Session 2 is a repeat of Session 1.) (Also, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.)
Where:
Each night, students are to enter through the primary entrance to the E
wing of Lincoln-Way Central High School. As you drive in the main entrance off
of Route 30, it is to the right of the flagpole. There will be signs on the
doors of the primary entrance to E wing to let students know what room they are
to go.
Why:
The purpose is to cover some topics that will help prepare students
for their algebra class once school starts. It will be a preview of some of the
things students will see and will need to know how to do during the school
