Lincoln-Way East Presents "Orchesis: Number 1 Hits"

The Lincoln Way East Orchesis dance club will perform "Orchesis: Number 1 Hits" on January 24-25. This year’s dance performance is a compilation of different styles of choreography designed as a tribute to your favorite movie songs from the 60's, 70's, 80's and today. The dancers will perform all styles of dance from hip hop to ballet. Performances will be at 7 p.m. on Friday, January 24 and Saturday, January 25 in the Lincoln Way East Fine Arts Center. Lincoln-Way Students Participate in Wreaths Across America

More than 100 cadets from Lincoln-Way Central, West, and East unpacked 25,000+ wreaths at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery on Saturday, December 14th as participants in the nationwide annual Wreaths Across America wreath-laying event. In addition, Lt. Col Tsoukatos lead the wreath dedication ceremony and MSgt Dan Schliffka served as the Master of Ceremonies coordinator. Twenty-five cadets served as the American Flag bearers, singers of the National Anthem, and Military Wreath Presenters. This event was established to honor and remember veterans from each branch of the military, as well as the prisoners of war and those missing in action. [Read More]
