Lincoln-Way Marching Band to host first Tournament of Roses fundraiser
Friday, December 22, 2017

The Lincoln-Way Marching Band (LWMB) is excited to announce their first LWMB fundraiser for the 2019 Tournament of Roses trip.
LWMB members were initially notified on September 27, 2017 that they had been chosen to participate in the Rose Parade. Only nine high school marching bands will attend the 130th annual parade, to be held on January 1, 2019.

For this fundraiser, students will have the opportunity to generate funds by selling chocolate bars through September of 2019.

Those interested in purchasing chocolate bars may do so by contacting a member of the LWMB, or by contacting a campus representative. Campus representatives who are assisting in this fundraiser’s management are:

• Lincoln-Way Central: Mrs. Cindy Krawulski (krawulski91@yahoo.com)
• Lincoln-Way East: Mrs. Denise Bednar (dblandbednar@yahoo.com)
• Lincoln-Way West: Mrs. Jody Jensen (jody.jensen@genesishcc.com)
• Lincoln-Way Sponsorship: Kim Hansen (lwmsponsorship@gmail.com)

“This fundraiser is a fantastic way for our students to help pay for their trip to Pasadena,” says Director Cary Ruklic. “Every candy bar sold gets the student one step closer to the Rose Parade.”
