Lincoln-Way Marching Band to host entertainer Christopher Carter Thursday, February 15, 2018
At 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 25, 2018 in the Lincoln-Way East Fine Arts Auditorium, the Lincoln-Way Marching Band (LWMB) will host a performance by Christopher Carter. Christopher Carter is an acclaimed entertainer having won numerous awards for his performances on college campuses and at corporate meetings. Carter’s uncanny skills mesmerize audiences when he "reads minds" and uses hypnosis on willing audience members.
This LWMB fundraiser will help fund student travel for the 2019 Tournament of Roses trip. The band was selected as one of only nine high school marching bands nationally to be invited to participate in the parade. The parade will span 5 and ½ miles, host more than 700,000 spectators along the parade route, and will be broadcast in 2017 countries, in over 20 languages, to over 65 million people worldwide. “This is a great honor for the kids, and a chance for our entire music community to shine on a worldwide platform,” says LWMB director Cary Ruklic.
Tickets to Christopher Carter’s performance are $20 each and may be purchased prior to the performance date through any LWMB member, or by calling (708) 417-1424.
