Lincoln-Way North Badminton Players Give Back
Monday, April 6, 2015

Ten students on Lincoln-Way Norths Girls Varsity Badminton team volunteered their time at PAWS (Peoples Animal Welfare Society) of Tinley Park last month.

There was no shortage of puppy love. The students pitched in by filling Easter Egg shells with dog treats, folding towels, and sweeping the floor.

The girls really enjoyed learning about the animal shelter and its commitment to finding homes for animals and preventing animal cruelty, said Alison Jozsa, Lincoln-Way North math teacher and badminton coach.

The team loved volunteering at PAWS so much that they plan to collect items during the month of April to donate to the shelter, Jozsa said.
