Lincoln-Way East Science Department STEM TripMonday, April 15, 2019
During Spring Break, a group of 14 Griffins traveled to San Francisco for the Lincoln-Way East Science Department’s very first STEM trip. “We chose San Francisco due to it being a tourist spot and all it has to offer in the realm of science, technology, engineering and math,” said Maria Wilson, East Science Department Chair.
The group took a cable car ride, visited iconic spots like the Golden Gate Bridge and GooglePlex, and enjoyed all San Francisco had to offer. Students had a diverse range of ages and interests in careers.
“Personally, this trip was more than I originally expected I am confident to say that every student learned something on this trip,” said Wilson.
