Eleven of Lincoln-Way North’s finest musicians participated in the Illinois Music Educators Association All-State Festival in Peoria, Illinois.

To gain an invitation to the state festival each student was required to audition in October, and be invited to the ILMEA District 1 festival in November. From there, they had a second audition to determine their participation in the all-state festival.

“This recognition is a credit to all of their hard work and dedication to music. These students have represented our school and community well, we as teachers could not be more proud of all of their accomplishments.” said Justin Barnish, Lincoln-Way North Music Department Chair.
