Students Participate in "Full Immersion" French ProgramTuesday, March 8, 2016
French 4AP students Kayla Groen and Sydney Mc Allister participated in an all-day Immersion program at Dominican University in River Forest.
Approximately 150 students from 28 area high schools pledged to speak only French for an entire day of cultural experiences including passing through "customs", board games, a scavenger hunt, lectures, skits, and conversations.
"The students and I even learned a song and dance from Senegal. These girls held true to their promises and spoke exclusively French for over 8 hours," commented French teacher Dawn Floyd.
