Three student athletes from Lincoln-Way West High School signed national letters of intent February 4 during a ceremony held at Warriors Lodge.

Parents, friends, coaches and teachers gathered to celebrate the students accomplishments.

We are excited to recognize three outstanding student athletes who are making the commitment to continue their academic and athletic careers at the collegiate level, said Lincoln-Way West Athletic Director Ted Robbins. Each of these students have played an integral part of their individual teams and the continued success of the new athletic program.

Students who were recognized and have signed on to play college football include Jake Heckler at the University of Central Missouri; Jake Zola at Davenport University and Nick Trolian at Davenport University.

These students have made outstanding contributions to the Lincoln-Way West athletic program, said West Principal Dr. Monica Schmitt. We wish these students continued success in the classroom and on the football field.
