Last week, Lincoln-Way welcomed parents of incoming freshmen to breakfast with the superintendent, principals, and administration.

Over 300 parents attended the breakfasts, which were hosted on August 10, 11, and 12 at Lincoln-Way East, Lincoln-Way Central, and Lincoln-Way West, respectively. Members from the District 210 Board of Education Dee Molinare, Christine Glatz, and Ronald Lullo were in attendance, along with members of the administration and student support staff.

Freshmen parents learned about the accomplishments of each school, the athletics and activities available to their students, upcoming testing changes in Illinois regarding PARCC, SAT, and ACT, and were also able to ask questions to the administrative personnel. “We were happy to see so many parents come together to learn about the opportunities for their kids. Between the parents and teachers, these students truly have such great support systems,” said Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum, Tim Reilly.
