Lincoln-Way East FBLA Students Recognized with Top Honors at FBLA National Leadership Conference in Atlanta, GAMonday, August 29, 2016
Georgia, July 2016--More than 12,000 of the best and brightest youth traveled to Atlanta to make some history of their own as they showcased their talents as future business leaders and vied for the opportunity to win over $175,000 in cash awards.
Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda (FBLA-PBL), the largest and oldest student business organization, held its National Leadership Conference in Atlanta on June 29--July 2. Participants from across the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, and China were in attendance for this exciting conference to sharpen their core business skills, expand their networks, and participate in more than 60 business and business-related competitive events. The following students represented Lincoln-Way East:

“Special recognition goes to Ben Gimenez and Brandon Hesslau for placing 11th in this very prestigious competition. Their event of Computer Game and Simulation Programming is an extremely difficult category and I am so proud of their accomplishment!” said Christine Ahearn, Lincoln-Way East Business & Technology teacher and FBLA advisor.
“Through hard work and dedication, our students earned this opportunity to attend the National competition in Atlanta. This national competition is a great opportunity for students to network with business leaders and other members from across the world. It is a once in a lifetime experience!” said Ahearn.
