Lincoln-Way High Schools ranked in top five Tuesday, August 30, 2016
Chicago Magazine has ranked Lincoln-Way East, Lincoln-Way Central, and Lincoln-Way West as three of the top five high schools in Will County. The data, released on August 22, takes many factors into account including: enrollment, spending per pupil, freshmen on track, ACT attainment, 5Essentials Survey, and graduation rate.
“The recognition by Chicago Magazine for Lincoln-Way schools is another fine honor for this community, students, and staff,” says Reilly. “We were especially pleased to see that the staff at all schools gave very high rankings for our professional development opportunities for our staff. In fact, Chicago magazine noted that Lincoln-Way East’s staff gave a perfect score (99) for the fine experiences that we offer our teachers. That’s a reflection of the great work of Dr. Aimee Feehery and all of our 2015-2016 assistant principals for curriculum: Joe Skarbek (East), Renae Goldie (North), Beth McNamara (Central), and Anne Shanahan (West).”
