One of the most popular Disney movies of all time is capturing hearts in a whole new way: as a practically perfect musical. The jack-of-all trades Bert, introduces us to England in 1910 and the troubled Banks family. Young Jane and Michael have sent many a nanny packing before Mary Poppins arrives on their doorstep. Using a combination of magic and common sense, she must teach the family how to value each other again, stated Tom Venutolo, musical director and choral director for Lincoln-Way West.

Venutolo continues, Mary Poppins takes the children on many magical and memorable adventures, but Jane and Michael arent the only ones she has a profound effect on. Even grown-ups can learn a lesson or two from the nanny who advises that Anything can happen if you let it.

Tickets are $10 for all ages. Tickets for reserved seating are available online: www.lwwmb.org or order by phone, please call, 815-717-3507. Use checkout code Supercal to waive the service charges.

The musical is presented in the Lincoln-Way West High School Fine Arts Center, 21701 South Gougar Road, New Lenox.

A complimentary senior citizen dress rehearsal will be held on Wednesday, March 25 beginning at 5:00 p.m. Doors will open at 4:30 p.m. Seating is general admission with no ticket required.

Cast members include: Nate Adler, Annie Albright, Mitchell Alcoser, Morgan Alcoser, Fiona Bowers, Jared Clutter, Katia Dabrowski, Brian Dexheimer, Kaelen Evon, Kate Gibertini, Trisha Golec, Brianna Gray, Micha Hagen, Anastasia Karnezis, Jenna Kirkeeng, Elizabeth Kritikos, Anna Leo, Maggie Miller, Hannah Murphy, Kelly OSullivan, Danny Puig, Sarah Richardson, Rachel Singh, Andrea Skinner, Christian Spalla, Sarah Stamborski, Gretchen Stellwagen, Julia Stinnett, Kayla Studer, Cassidy Tiberi, Collin Tompulis, Jimmy Wainwright, Tayler Wollek, Colleen Wright and Zenon Zamora.
