Lincoln-Way Hosts Special Event for Community Leaders Tuesday, March 24, 2015
Lincoln-Way High School District 210 today welcomed business and community leaders to a special event giving them an inside glimpse into high school curriculum offered at the district’s four high schools.
District administrators took their guests on classroom visits at Lincoln-Way East where they observed courses like AP U.S. History, Auto Mechanics, Electronic Music, AP Psychology, Physics, AP English Literature and others.
Following their classroom visits, guests enjoyed a presentation from Superintendent Dr. R. Scott Tingley about the high level of curriculum offered at each of Lincoln-Way’s four high schools.
“The support of our communities is critical to our success and our ability to provide Lincoln-Way High School students with the best education possible,” said Tingley. “This just a small way for us to thank you for being part of the Lincoln-Way family.”
Guests represented area chambers of commerce, libraries, park districts, businesses, and parents of top 15 students.
A similar event was hosted at Lincoln-Way West in the fall for community leaders in New Lenox and Manhattan.
