Lincoln-Way Announces Online Registration for Summer School
Wednesday, March 25, 2015

Lincoln-Way High School District 210 announced that online registration for summer school is open at www.lw210.org. Parents can select the Online Payment button and follow the payment instructions for summer school.

Summer school is a great opportunity for Lincoln-Way students to take an elective like art or drivers education, get ahead in their course requirements or just stay engaged with their academics over the summer, said Superintendent Dr. R. Scott Tingley. Our students consistently take advantage of our summer school offerings because it means they can take more AP courses or electives during the school year.

Summer school is held at Lincoln-Way Central and Lincoln-Way East from June 15 through July 1 for first semester and July 6 through July 22 for second semester. Class runs from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Parents who prefer not to register online have the option to fill out the summer school form, found at www.lw210.org under Summer School Registration, and turn it in with a check to their students high school Pupil Personnel Services office.

The deadline to register for summer school is May 15.

Tuition for Lincoln-Way residents is $180 per semester and $255 per semester for non-residents. Transportation is offered for Lincoln-Way residents at $70 per semester. Students will be notified on the first day of summer school if the course requires a lab fee.

Attendance at summer school is mandatory and a student will be dropped for more than one day of absence per semester.

Classes will be filled in the order in which registration forms have been received and may be cancelled due to insufficient enrollment. Students will be notified regarding class cancellation, given the opportunity to select another course or have their money refunded. Class rosters will be posted outside of the main office on the first day of class.

If a student is in danger of failing a current class, the student should register for summer school. If the student passes the current class and the school is notified prior to the first day of summer school, a refund will be issued to the parent/guardian.
