The Peer Mentor Program is dedicated to helping our freshmen Griffins' transition to high school. Senior mentors are placed in freshman study halls to provide guidance, leadership, and support. They conduct prescribed activities to guide the freshmen through their first year. Some topics include dealing with peer pressure, what to expect during Homecoming week, how to join a club or activity, and how to prepare for final exams. Students may apply to be a peer mentor during the 2nd semester of their junior year. Acceptance in the program is based on application questions, teacher recommendations, and space availability.
