Peer Mediators is a group of students that provides assistance to the student body in conflict resolution. Mediators are called upon throughout the year to help their fellow students resolve conflicts in a peaceful and fair way. Referrals to mediation come from students, deans, or faculty members. Participation by the disputants is always voluntary, and they need to come to the table prepared to work toward an equitable solution. Peer Mediators are chosen from students that have been previously trained in junior high or have been recommended by Lincoln-Way faculty.
