| Access
The
libraries at Lincoln-Way serve the informational needs
of over 5,000 students and staff. The libraries are
open before and after school, on a drop-in basis,
for anyone wanting to check out books, do research,
work on a homework assignment, or read.
During
the school day the libraries are used primarily by
teachers who bring their classes into the library
and lab to work on projects and to do research.
Students
who wish to use the library during their advisory
period must get a pass from one of their academic
teachers. Every effort will be made to accommodate
students who need to use the library resources during
their advisory period. |

Circulation
Students
must have a valid ID in order to check out library
materials. Please bring all materials to the circulation
desk so that the bar code can be scanned into the
computer. If the security system sounds an alarm when
you exit the library, return to the circulation desk
so that the check-out procedure can be completed.
Books
usually circulate for a period of two weeks. A fine
of $.10 per day will be charged for all overdue materials.
Occasionally teachers will request that books be put
on reserve and checked out on an overnight basis only.
Overdue fines for reserved books are $.50 per day.
