MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

We quickly approach that time in the school year that begins to signal the end of the year.  Many culminating activities take place as we celebrate final concerts and recognition programs.  We recently honored those students on the honor roll and high honor roll, as well as the top ten students and students of the year.  The top ten students for each class are:

Graduation is just around the corner.  Our graduation at North is June 4 in the stadium.  Starting time is 6:30 p.m.  If we have poor weather, the ceremony will be inside in the gymnasium, also at 6:30.  Tickets will be allocated to the seniors.  More graduation information can be found on-line.

Our current juniors are the first to have a graduation requirement of 20 hours of community service.  Information on projects can be found in the main office. 

Prom will be held on Saturday night, May 5.  This is an exciting time for participating students and their families.  We hope all make good choices and have a great time.

Summer school registration is still open.  Information can be acquired in our PPS office and registration can be completed on-line.

April 30 is the day for our Parent University.  Our topic will provide parents with important information regarding under age consumption of alcohol and illegal drugs. 

Students are encouraged to follow safety laws while driving.  Limited number of passengers  are allowed in vehicles.  Seatbelts are to be worn, and cell phone use is not allowed in school zones.  Students need to be aware of factors causing distractive driving.

There will not be a delayed start on May 8.
