Into the Woods, the composer/lyricist Stephen Sondheim weaves together several different fairy tales into a seamless storyline. The focus of the plot is on a baker and his wife who cannot have a child until they follow the bidding of the witch next door.
Into the Woods shows us how the characters get to "Happily Ever After" and then what happens when that is not all it's cracked up to be. Because the fairy tales are slightly changed in Act II, sensitive young children should only see Act II at the parent's discretion. The entire show is appropriate
