The mission of the Foundation is to creatively generate financial support with which to enrich and enhance the opportunities and educational experiences of Lincoln-Way High School District 210 students. Since its inception in 1994, volunteer Foundation directors have embraced this mission and our community has responded with unparalleled generosity. As a result, the Lincoln-Way High School District 210 Foundation has awarded over $4.5 million to benefit the educational programs of the District. The Foundation is committed to serving our community by funding programs and donating items that touch the lives of as many students as possible.Lincoln-Way Foundation Virtual Gala & Auctions- a success!
The Lincoln-Way Foundation thanks the entire community for celebrating their "Love of Lincoln-Way" via the Virtual Gala & Auctions on Saturday, February 20, 2021 . This year, almost 500 registered & tuned in to view our event, with over $30,000 generated. We thank Plus One AV for their broadcast support & help in making the event a success!
This fun night was hosted by Executive Director, Bob Kennedy, and Foundation Board President Stacie McGlone. Throughout the evening, information on how the Foundation raises money & first-hand testimonials from students & Partners were provided. Bids were widespread on amazing gift baskets donated by individuals & businesses whose generosity makes a positive difference in the lives of many Lincoln-Way students & families. Raffles were won by Chrstine McCormick, Beth Ryan & Jason Yutesler. Thanks to everyone who took a chance!
Due to COVID-19, the Foundation has had to cancel or modify many programs in 2020. In order to continue to generate financial support to enhance the opportunities & educational experiences of District 210 students, virtual events will continue in early 2021. Hopefully, we will be face to face at CD & ME at our next big event featuring three live bands- our Summer Fest on 7/16/2021!
We are proud to have extended more than $22,000 in scholarships to graduating seniors in 2020. With community support from the 2021 Virtual gala, we hope to increase it to $30,000 this May! Additional proceeds from the event are also used for classroom enhancements, which can be viewed at https://youtu.be/3ZRN21oGV2w. The Foundation appreciates your ongoing support for all our campaigns.
