During halftime of the L-W North vs. L-W West basketball game Friday night (Jan. 22), the Lincoln-Way North Athletic Booster Club presented a check for $100,000 to the school’s athletic department.

The money, which the group of parent volunteers raised over the last two years, will be used to purchase additional equipment for Lincoln-Way North’s athletic department.

The group has already purchased record boards for the school’s main gym and aquatic center and plans to install a windscreen at the top of the outdoor stadium bleachers as well as a lighted flag pole near the softball, baseball and soccer fields.
