The Lincoln-Way West Political Science Club recently completed a book drive to benefit a school in Northern Uganda. The club successfully donated 300 books to the Books for Uganda project.

“This is a very motivated group of students that spread the word about the book drive to the students at West. The students in the Political Science Club were very committed to this project. We are really proud of the charitable hearts that the students at West displayed,” stated Brittany Domzal, social science teacher and faculty sponsor for the club.

The Political Science Club registered in the “School’s for School’s” campaign which paired our school with a school in Northern Uganda. Everything we raised goes towards building a library and helping modernize the school Domzal said.

Political Science club members who helped with the Books for Uganda project are: Matt Shipanik, John Wolf, Evan Kirk, Luke Scalone, Andrew Karns, Liam Gascoin, Katie Kelly, Saverio Ruback, Jason Lloyd, and Ray Carlson.
