Eleven Lincoln-Way Central students were chosen as winners out of 200 entries in the New Lenox VFW's Voice of Democracy Essay Contest. Students were tasked with writing a 3-5 page essay answering the question 'What are the greatest features of our democracy?'. The 11 winners were then asked to record themselves reading their essay to send to the VFW. Congratulations to the following students for their winning essays:
