LWC Freshman, Camden Bruley, traveled to ISU this past Friday to participate in the Special Olympics State Basketball Tournament. His team won silver for their division! Way to go, Camden!!🏀🏅

Amazing performance at the SWSC Bandfest held at Olivet University. Students performed for Northwestern Clinician Mallory Thompson and under the direction of Mr. Mroczek. This is a wonderful and educational opportunity for all Southwest Suburban Conference band students.

Students in Mrs. Yanule's 1st hour AP Literature class learned about art and music that is alluded to in Kate Chopin's The Awakening. They learned about composers such as Mozart, Beethoven, and Chopin. Students were treated to a mini live concert by their classmate, Nick Lask, who performed pieces by these famous composers. What a treat! Excellent musical talent, Nick! 🎼🎶🌊

The LWC LIFE Skills class took a trip to Joey’s for lunch today to practice money skills, communication, and restaurant etiquette! 🌭🍔🍕
