Lincoln-Way is once again returning to hosting its popular Adult Welding Classes.   This year, there 4 classes to choose from.  

Introduction to Welding Processes is limited to 8 individuals for 5 weeks of once a week evening classes.  Classes meet from 6-9 pm.  There are two sessions to choose from.   The first session is on Tuesdays Nov. 14, 28, Dec. 5, 12, 19   and the second session is Thursdays Nov. 16, 30, Dec. 7, 14, 21.

The cost for the intro class is $175.00 per person.  

The Advanced Welding Performance classes have two sessions to choose from. Classes are from 6-9 pm, run for 4 evening classes and are limited to 8 individuals.   You may choose from the first session, Tuesdays Jan. 16, 23, 30, and Feb. 6 or Thursdays,  Jan. 11, 18, 25, Feb 1.

The cost of the advance class is $150.00 per person.

About the instructor:  With over 25 years of experience, Daymon Gast has been teaching welding at Lincoln-Way for 20 years. Recently he was the recipient of the 2020 $36,000 grand prize Miller Electric’s Who’s Building You Mentor of the Year. He coached the 2022 IL SkillsUSA State Champions and National SkillsUSA participants in Atlanta, Ga in Welding Fabrication, 2021 Lowes Home Improvement Welding $15,000 grant money recipient. An American Welding Society Certified Weld Inspector, Certified Welder, and Certified Weld Instructor, JJC Dual Credit and former JJC Adjunct College Welding instructor.  Daymon loves sharing his passion for welding with others.
