Four exceptional students from the Lincoln-Way East Class of 2025 were honored this month as Griffin Senior Standouts, a prestigious recognition awarded annually to graduating seniors who have made extraordinary contributions to their school or community.
Selected by their peers, these standout students—Tyler Fox, Adejoke Omoniyi, Jamison O’Sullivan, and David Scott—were celebrated during the school’s annual Scholarship Night, where each received a dedicated Lincoln-Way East scholarship in recognition of their achievements, leadership, and impact.
A highlight of the celebration was the unveiling of an interactive mural in the Griffin’s Lair. Featuring framed portraits and QR codes, the mural allows students, staff, and visitors to explore each honoree’s story through video interviews and multimedia content. The display serves not only as a tribute but also as an inspiration to future generations of Griffins.
The mural was formally presented by the Senior Class Officers, who played a key role in the selection process--carefully reviewing nominations submitted by the Class of 2025 to help choose this year's standout seniors. The 2025 Senior Class Board includes:
President: Alaina Vargas
Vice President: Charlie Cosich
Treasurer: Luke Vetter
Secretary: Aidan Nilsson
Senior Class Sponsor: Mrs. Mary Beth Deady
Surrounded by their families and friends, the Griffin Senior Standouts were recognized not just for academic excellence, but for embodying the spirit of leadership, compassion, and service that defines Lincoln-Way East.
Congratulations to our 2025 Griffin Senior Standouts!
