Lincoln-Way Community High School District 210 is proud to announce the hiring of Katie Hunt as Director of Special Services. Hunt comes to Lincoln-Way with an extensive background in special education, most recently serving as a special services coordinator at Joliet West High School. Prior to her role as special services coordinator, Hunt was a teacher at Joliet West High School, teaching co-taught and instructional level courses in reading and English.
Hunt has a master’s degree in education and Type 75 certificate from the University of St. Francis, as well as a Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS) 1 endorsement. She is currently pursuing her doctorate in educational leadership.
“Katie Hunt comes to Lincoln-Way with a wealth of knowledge in the special services space, and we believe she will be a strong addition to our district administrative team,” said Dr. Scott Tingley, superintendent.
