Looking for something fun and different this winter? Learn a valuable new skill, meet new people, and create your own welding projects while supporting the next generation of skilled trades professionals.

Join our Adult Introductory Welding Class. A portion of each registration fee will help fund equipment and program upgrades that enhance learning opportunities for Lincoln-Way welding students.

Taught by Lincoln-Way Welding Instructor Daymon Gast, with assistance from talented Lincoln-Way welding students, participants will learn:

• MIG Welding

• Stick Welding

• Torch Cutting

• Safe Use of Trade-Related Power Tools

Class Details

Dates: Wednesdays, November 4, 11, and 18

Time: 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM

Location: Lincoln-Way East High School, 201 Colorado Avenue, Frankfort

Cost: $165

Enter through Door 13 and meet in Room 181. Parking is available near the tennis courts.

Who Can Attend: Adults ages 18 and older only

Class Size: Limited to 10 participants

Tuition includes all tools, materials, consumables, and safety equipment needed to complete two to three welding projects during the three-session course. Lincoln-Way will provide welding helmets, jackets, safety glasses, welding caps, gloves, and ear protection. Participants should wear blue jeans and closed-toe shoes.

Can't make the November session? A second session will be offered on Thursdays, February 4, 11, and 18.
