Students visited Governor's State University for the SWSC Visual Arts Festival today. They enjoyed viewing their artwork in the gallery and working with GSU art faculty. They also got to hear a presentation by Peter Bertucci, a L-Way graduate working in the animation industry in LA. Congrats Varsity Scholastic Bowl for their win last night. We finished with a record of 11-2 & SWSC Red Division Champs. Jr. Luke Friedl and Trent Kudla were awarded All-Conference honors & completed in the SWSC All-Star Match. Amazing job, Knights! Good luck at Regionals!

Congratulations to Kira Szczytowski for being recognized with an honorable mention award for her printmaking self-portrait in this year's Scholastic Art Competition. The Scholastic Art Competition is the largest and most competitive art competition in the nation. This year 1,901 pieces of artwork were entered by over 25 schools, and only one third were accepted into the show.
