Join the Lincoln-Way West Theatre Company this Friday and Saturday for their Winter Play Senior Directed Showcase to find out the answers to these questions and more! The Winter Play Senior Directed Showcase will begin at 7:00 pm on Friday and the performance times for Saturday are at 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm. Tickets are only $5 for students and $10 for adults. Tickets can be purchased at the door prior to the performances. You can also purchase a ticket from a cast member or in the theatre office after school.

Student Council is hosting an Enchanted winter dance on February 24 from 7:00 – 10:00 pm in the main gym! Tickets to the winter dance can be purchased before and after school during the week of February 19th for $20. Cash, credit or apple pay will be accepted. Outside guest forms are still available in SSO and must be approved prior to purchasing a ticket for an outside guest. Students will not be able to purchase a ticket for an outside guest the night of the winter dance. Students visited Governor's State University for the SWSC Visual Arts Festival today. They enjoyed viewing their artwork in the gallery and working with GSU art faculty. They also got to hear a presentation by Peter Bertucci, a L-Way graduate working in the animation industry in LA. Congratulations to Sam Burich for winning the Best of School Award for L-Way West for the pictured scratchboard drawing!

Freshman, sophomore, and senior students attended a presentation today with a registered polysomnography technologist (RPSGT). They presented about the importance of proper sleep habits and how sleep (or lack of) can impact our mental, physical and emotional health. Students heard tips and tricks they can use to improve their sleep. #AWarriorWithin
Senior Eli Bach was honored last night for scoring 1,000 career points. He scored 42 points in last night's game to help lead the Warriors to a 71-61 win over Bradley-Bourbonnais. Congratulations to Eli and a great win for the team!

The National Honor Society is proud to announce that their current members compiled over 1.3K community service hours this fall! A special congratulations to Mia Robson for accumulating over 60 hours of community service throughout the first semester. Also, Candise Battin, Nora Cosgrove, and Madison Mahoney each tallied over 30 hours of community service.
