🏆 The Olympics are three weeks from today! Registration packets will be available tomorrow in the main office. Students should carefully review the information in the registration packet if they are interested in participating in the 2024 Homecoming Olympics. Teams can register for the event on September 4 or September 5. Registrations packets won’t be accepted after 3:00 pm on Thursday, September 5. See Mrs. Novak in the Student Activities Office if you are interested in volunteering at the event but don’t have a team. #GetInvolved

LWW Theatre Company is “gearing up” for our Fall Play Rosie the Riveter. Get involved and become a part of the team as we portray this World War Two story based on actual events. There will be an interest meeting tomorrow from 2:45 until 3:30 in the Auditorium. We will talk about participating on stage and behind the scenes. More information about activity meeting dates will be available over the next few weeks. Students should check the daily announcements in Skyward as clubs will start to hold informational meetings. Freshmen and sophomores will attend a presentation on September 4 with our Coordinator of Student Activities about how to get involved and the annual Activity Fair will be on September 6 during the lunch hours. Students will be able to ask questions about how to get involved at LWW and pick up informational club flyers at the Activity Fair. #GetInvolved

Community Night kicks off our fall sport season this Friday night at 6:00. Line-up begins at 5:30. The Athletic Booster concession stand will be open as well as their spirit wear sale. TCBY, Kona Ice, Do Rite Donuts & Bourbon Smokehouse will also be sold. We welcome everyone from the community for this free fun-filled event to kick off the fall season.

Congratulations to the girls golf team for placing 1st at the Rockford Tournament! Peyton White came in 3rd place individually and Reilly Carlson placed 9th individually.

We will begin the school year with a short assembly in the main gym at 8:00 am tomorrow morning after 0 hour. Students should pick up their orange t-shirt outside the main gym when they arrive to school. After the assembly, students will report to 1st hour. #LeadTheWay
