
Yesterday’s Polar Express was a success! We appreciate all of Student Council’s effort in organizing such a terrific holiday event for families in our community.





Yesterday was a great day of bowling for the Warriors! The girls bowling program won the Lincoln-Way Cup at both the varsity and the JV levels while the boys bowling program won the Lincoln-Way Cup at the varsity level. Great job Warriors and good luck in the postseason! #CompeteLikeAWarrior

Today was the final trip of the year to Ascension St. Joseph’s in Joliet for the Anatomy and Physiology Medical class! Students showed their appreciation by writing thank you cards to the hospital staff who supported them throughout their experience.


Congratulations to the Air Force Junior ROTC Drill Team for a tremendous overall 2nd place performance at the Lincoln-Way East High School Drill Competition last night. The following teams had an astonishing evening: Winning 1st place award was the Armed Color Guard, Armed Inspection and the Unarmed Inspection teams. Congratulations to Hannah Nader for winning 2nd place out of 80 in Unarmed Knock-Out.





Bridges are breaking today! The Science Department is hosting the annual Bridge Building Competition and we have a number of students who built bridges for this year’s event.





We are days away from Student Council’s Polar Express event! They have a number of holiday activities planned from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm this Saturday, December 17 at Lincoln-Way West High School. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $10 per child. Cash only. Families should enter at the main entrance for the event.


Wear a sweater vest as we welcome the Gabey family to this Friday’s basketball game! The Warriors are hosting the Griffins in a SWSC crossover matchup with the varsity tip-off scheduled for 6:30 pm. See you there, Westside!

Ava Ferree is the Lincoln-Way West Super Fan for the month of November! Ava is a senior who is involved in the Welcome Crew, Student Council, Principal’s Cabinet, and Warrior Way. She also represents the Warriors on our Competitive Dance team and has been selected as a member of the National Honor Society and Lincoln-Way Math Honor Society. Her favorite memory as a Warrior was experiencing the IHSA State Dance competition in person during her junior year when the Warriors finished their season in 4th place.
