
A number of juniors were at school last night preparing for the SAT! Mrs. Scheer, Mrs. Horn and Ms. Villa presented reading strategies and grammar rules. Juniors should continue to use Khan Academy in preparation for the SAT on April 13.

The Air Force Junior ROTC Drill Team had an outstanding performance at the Air Force Nationals Drill Competition in Dayton, Ohio this weekend. Remarkable job to everyone who participated this weekend. Best of luck to the JV ROTC Drill Team at the Conference Championship in two weeks.

The deadline to submit poems or short stories to this year's District 210 Literary Magazine is FRIDAY 3/25. Submit this week for a chance to have your work published in this year's magazine! Students can get an entry form from their English or Art teacher, or they can email Mr. Labriola at plabriola@lw210.org.

Students attended presentations during their advisory in conjunction with the Sandy Hook Promise Foundation’s Say Something Week. Students were taught to look for signs to help prevent violence, suicides, & threats, and to notify the appropriate people in response to these signs.

Congratulations to Madeline Dul for winning an Honorable Mention Award for her pencil drawing in the IHSAE show. This is a highly competitive art exhibition and only a very small portion of pieces receive awards. Great job, Madeline!

If you buy your Social ticket between March 21 and April 21, you can receive a $5.00 discount. Social is for Lincoln-Way West juniors and seniors only. No outside guests may attend Social.
