Warriors – It’s time to drive awareness, support, and research for pediatric cancer awareness! Lincoln-Way West is teaming up with Cal’s Angels to host our first ever Go Gold game this Friday when we host Naperville North in this week’s edition of Friday Night Lights.
Cal’s Angels is a pediatric cancer foundation with a mission of granting wishes, raising pediatric cancer awareness, and funding research to help kids fighting cancer. The Westside’s theme for the football game will be GOLDOUT. We have an inventory of gold t-shirts that can be purchased this week during the lunch hours. Be The Change members will have gold shirts available at a table in the cafeteria during all the lunch hours this week. You can purchase a shirt using the QR code for Venmo or Zelle. You’ll need to put Lincoln-Way West in the description and show the payment in order to pick up your shirt at the table.
There are also flyers around the school with an additional QR code if you want to make a donation to Cal’s Angels. We look forward to seeing the stadium Go Gold this Friday in order to foster a greater understanding and support for affected children and their families. Join us in spreading the word and making a difference in the fight against pediatric cancer!

It’s Pediatric Cancer Awareness month and it is a time to drive awareness, support, and research that can save lives!
Thank you to all of our students who donated toys last week in conjunction with our Class Clash Good Vibes Toy Drive! We have nearly 100 toys that will be donated to The Pediatric Oncology Treasure Chest Foundation. Through the efforts of The Treasure Chest Foundation, children and teens are provided comfort and a little hope during the times they need it most while enduring the rigors of cancer treatment.
Stay tuned for more information on next week’s Stronger Together t-shirt sales for Cal’s Angels! #GiveLikeAWarrior
