LWW A and P Medical completed their semester of shadowing at St Joseph Medical Center in Joliet. This group of seniors had observed 12 different areas of the hospital - and many careers within each unit. On Friday, December 5th the West chapter of the National German Honors Society welcomed its new members. The Honors Society has existed since 1968 to honor students for their commitment to learning German and appreciating the cultures of German-speaking countries.

For more than 30 years, the original Christmas Tree Ship, the Rouse Simmons, delivered Christmas trees to families in Chicago. Today, the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Mackinaw continues this tradition, honoring the legacy of the historic ship.
This weekend, Lincoln-Way AFJROTC students joined volunteers at Navy Pier to help unload the trees that will be distributed to more than 1,000 families across Chicago this December.
