Congratulations to Emili Akileh for being awarded this year’s library student of the year! She has been one of the library’s biggest readers. Emili has also been one of our most helpful library aides for four years, a frequent visitor, and she shows an obvious love for the library. Her name is on the plaque in the hallway and she was awarded a medal and a gift card.

Lights, camera, memories! 📸
Thank you to Mrs. Quas and the Junior Class Officers for planning A Night at the Movies! Social 2025 set the scene for a fun filled event at Zachary’s Red Barn for our Lincoln-Way West juniors and seniors. #LeadTheWay

Congrats to Emily Tigchelaar on being named this year’s Mathematics Student of the Year! 🧡📚✨📈
Emily was voted by the Math Department as the student who best exemplifies excellence in math—both in and out of the classroom! From solving equations to excelling in creative problem-solving and leading by example, Emily has crushed it this year. Not only was she All-Conference for Mathletes, but she also shared her knowledge and passion as a peer tutor. #LeadTheWay #GetInvolved

Yesterday, Senior Addison Meadows presented Dr. Robbins her beautiful acrylic painting of Lincoln-Way West — seen in a rearview mirror. A powerful symbol for the Class of 2025 – looking back with love, but ready to lead the way into the future.

🎓✨🧡 It’s not just the seniors’ last day — it’s the final West Gazette of the year! Check out the issue by scanning the QR code below. If you are interested in writing for our student newspaper next year, see Mrs. Bromman-Bender in the library. #GetInvolved
