Dr. Ted Robbins is being honored tonight at the 40th Illinois Directors of Student Activities Recognition Banquet! On Friday Mrs. Fortkamp and Mrs. Hilbert presented at the 18th Annual Celebrating Language Arts Institute Day hosted by Wheaton North High School. They shared ideas from their classrooms with other area educators about peer collaboration during the writing process. #LeadTheWay

While reading The Great Gatsby, students in Mrs. Baya-Mirza's English 3 classes explored how the American Dream has evolved over time. They analyzed Batmobile designs from various decades, identifying how each reflected the era’s values, events, and visions of success. To bring this idea to life, students created their own Batmobile from a specific decade, incorporating historical and cultural elements to represent that period’s version of the American Dream.
