Student Council completed their annual Thanksgiving Basket & food drive this week! Each year they collect food for 10 complete Thanksgiving meals for local families in need. All 286 students donated at least 5 items for either the Thanksgiving baskets or the food drive.

Mrs. Baya-Mirza, Mr. Piechocinski, and Mrs. Hilbert attended the national convention for the National Council of Teachers of English last week. This convention gives teachers the opportunity to network with other educators, learn about best practices and emerging teaching strategies, and gain inspiration from prominent figures in literature and education.

Warrior Way had the opportunity to hear from former leaders this morning at their meeting. Deven Bax, Class of 2015, and Kyle Ruettiger, Class of 2016, answered a number of questions and shared about their experiences after graduating from LWW.
Students in Animal Science and Pre-Vet Studies have recently been learning about the care and management of a variety of animals including chickens, ducks, and hamsters.

The 2021 exhibition features work submitted by twelve area high schools. Each school selected up to five pieces of their best work to showcase in the annual event that is being held virtually this year. The show is currently live and will run through December 11.
