Congratulations to the Lincoln-Way Marching Band on their first place class 6A finish, and on being named GRAND CHAMPIONS at the Illinois State Marching Band Championships!


Congratulations to our seniors that answered Dr. Schmitt’s challenge during their junior year and practiced a combined 800 hours of test prep for the SAT! They were treated with a lunch at Gatto’s for their efforts.


The Board of Education met last night at Lincoln-Way Central. Highlights from the October 21 meeting include:
• Student Council presidents provided an overview of student activities at each building.
•Central: Madison Jendersak
•East: Peyton Lamphear
•West: Emma Stiglic
• Reviewed and approved a list of Capital Improvement Projects set to take place during the summer of 2022. District administration will now work with the Board’s architect to design and bid all projects on the list. Projects include:
• Roofing restoration, pavement repair, and other routine maintenance
• Refinishing of the gymnasium floors at all three schools
• New stadium scoreboards at Central and East
• Foods lab renovation at Central
• Remodeling of conference and restroom facilities at West
•Appointed new members of the District 210 Advisory Committee, which consists of district stakeholders from all three campuses.

Dr. Luzzo was putting the final touches on the AP Scholar Board earlier this week. We are proud of our Warriors who have earned AP Scholar recognition!



Congratulations to Aubree, Grace & Sarah! Lincoln-Way West had both a singles and doubles advance to IHSA Tennis State for the first time in school history.


The Lincoln-Way West Theatre Company presents CLUE (High School Edition) tonight, Friday, and Saturday at 7:00 pm! Tickets to the fall play can be purchased at the box office the night of performance. The cost is $5 for students & seniors and $10 for adults.


Candy sale money is due this Friday! All freshmen who took a box of candy should turn their money in on Friday in the PPS office. Contact Ms. Taylor with any questions.
